Sustainability at Mugs Fort Collins
How it all started
For over 20 years, Mugs has been rooted in caring for our community, our planet, and the people who make Fort Collins feel like home. We truly believe that the best way to create value for our local Fort Collins family is to make conscious decisions about where and how we source products, being aware of our carbon footprint, and eliminating as much waste as possible between our two Mugs locations. We’ve always worked to make thoughtful choices about where our products come from and how we can reduce waste across our two locations. After a long pause, we began growing and using our own produce in 2023 again, and felt inspired to take things even further. This year, we’re stepping up our sustainability efforts with new initiatives. From composting our kitchen scraps to eliminating single-use plastics, all of our efforts are a reminder that we are here to serve YOU. For more updates, check out our monthly newsletter email and website page to see our progress. Thanks for being part of our journey toward a greener Mugs and a stronger community.
YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY BEING A MUGS CUSTOMER.
By being a loyal member of the Mugs community, we are able to seek out small-businesses and support over 25 local businesses. Not only does this help keep our core values centered around community, but it also lowers our carbon footprint(fewer trucks on the road) and reduces our need for excessive packaging.
What We’ve Already Done
